Abato Unveils Pearl of Africa High School

For many years we have been challenged by the fact that many of our youngsters we support through primary school have always dropped out of school after the Primary School level adding to Uganda’s ever increasing school drop out rate statistics.

Over 100 children have graduated from our Abato Junior School since 2014 yet a very minimal 40 students have continued to the next stage.
With this in mind , we have been working hard to reverse this statistic. In partnership with Grace City Church an several other community members, we embarked on a project that would see us build our own secondary school to provide an affordable high quality secondary education.

We are happy to share that the Pearl of Africa High School Mpigi is now open. We would never have achieved this without the support of our amazing friends and partners worldwide.

Special thanks to Grace City Church and it’s partners, Girls on A Mission E.V, One City Schools in Madison and the Toni Garnn Foundation.
We now have a wonderful school with 100 registered students who are starting soon. Another reason to celebrate together!
