Denise’s Promise
Our long-standing relationship with Denise’s Promise dates back as far as 2012 when we started the first pre-school to directly provide a quality but affordable Early Childhood education. The charity has been supporting our pre-school since then.
By supporting several children through primary, secondary and University, Denise’s Promise has been instrumental in enabling us achieve our vision of raising up young people who would inspire social change in their communities.
Todate we are so proud of some of these young people. Many have gone on to become medical professionals, social workers and other are serving alongside us at Abato in our education projects.
The establishment of the Denise Promise Tennis Academy in 2020 has helped not only to introduce the sport to children and youth in Uganda thereby promoting their talents but the academy is also enabling many children to access life skills training as part of our partnership with Denise’s Promise.
The academy boasts of a well equipped tennis court and hundreds of temmis equipment donated through Denise’s Promise in the UK.
Each team charity ships to Uganda hundreds of items including children’s clothing and sports equipment.
